About Us:
Kinder Kastle Childcare Learning Center has been a trusted provider of early childhood education since 1997. We serve children aged infant to pre-kindergarten, offering a nurturing and enriching environment where young minds can grow and thrive. We are proud to operate four locations across New Jersey, each dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education.
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team full time and part time. As a teacher at Kinder Kastle, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students, focusing on their educational, social, and emotional development. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and prepares children for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment. Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in compliance with state regulations. Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of each student. Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process. Monitor and assess student progress to ensure educational goals are met. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior. Implement behavior management techniques when necessary. Provide literacy education and physical education opportunities. Prepare students for standardized testing as required. Support the lead teacher (for assistant teacher role) in executing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong background in special education and childhood development or willingness/eagerness to learn. Ability to effectively educate and support students with diverse needs. Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficient in behavior management techniques. Experience working with students in an educational setting.
Assistant Teachers:
High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Previous experience in a childcare setting is a plus. A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.
