Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a dedicated Pre K Assistant Teacher to support our Springdale Road center. In this role, you'll assist the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for preschool-aged children. You'll help implement age-appropriate activities, supervise play and learning, and support children's social, emotional, and academic development. Responsibilities include classroom setup, cleaning, following health and safety procedures, and assisting with meals and rest time. You'll collaborate with a supportive team committed to inclusive, high-quality early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teacher with daily Pre-K lessons and activities Supervise children to ensure safety and positive behavior Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning Help with classroom setup, organization, and cleanup Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures Communicate professionally with staff and families as directed Assist with meals, rest time, and personal care routines Document observations or incidents per center policies Required Skills Classroom assistance Early childhood education Child supervision Behavior management Lesson implementation Health and safety compliance CPR/First Aid knowledge Parent communication Sanitation and cleanliness Basic recordkeeping
