A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher Aide to work with students with developmental and related disabilities aged 3-21 years at our Lakeview School. Job Responsibilities of a Teacher Aide include: Assist the classroom teacher in implementing each student's specific daily education and therapy programs.
Carry out goals and objectives appropriate to each student's needs with sensitivity to their disability.
