Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students in specialized educational settings near Marlton, NJ and North Bergen. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for compassionate, resilient professionals who are dedicated to helping students with severe behavioral needs thrive in structured, supportive environments. Youll receive comprehensive training in safety and de-escalation, and ongoing support to help you succeed as a paraprofessional.
Key Qualifications:
Paraprofessional certification or Associates degree required Experience in ABA or ERI programs is advantageous, but not mandatory Strong commitment to supporting students with behavioral challenges Capable of managing severe behaviors within a behavioral program Willingness to learn and participate in provided training Flexibility, patience, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Role Responsibilities:
Assist and motivate students with severe behavioral needs as they progress through highly structured academic and behavioral programs Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and team members to implement individualized plans Promote a supportive, safe, and structured learning environment Employ de-escalation strategies and adhere to safety protocols (training provided) Foster social, emotional, and educational development for students who require significant behavioral support Consistently model positive interactions and contribute to students ability to succeed in a restrictive educational setting No toileting duties requiredstudents are generally independent in self-care
