Teacher Assistant (Full-Time)Position Summary:
The Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. This role assists with implementing daily classroom activities, supervising children, maintaining classroom organization, and promoting each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Support children with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic growth through positive interactions. Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies. Help prepare classroom materials and learning centers. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Communicate classroom needs and concerns to the Lead Teacher and management team.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Passion for early childhood education and child development. Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks and required certifications.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively engage with children throughout the day. Ability to respond quickly to children's needs and emergencies.Benefits:
