Job Description
Position is available for a part time paraprofessional position. AM and PM positions available. Paras are responsible for working with a classroom teacher, and with another part time paraprofessional in the classroom. Students are aged three to five years old and there are 15 students per classroom. This position will consist of assisting the children in learning class material using the teacher's lesson plans, recording student progress, and providing students with individualized attention
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sign in and report to the classroom at designated times Check classroom supplies-paper towels, cleaning spray, gloves, wipes, etc. Turn on Computers Pick up breakfasts and prepare tables Check folders for any papers/forms/letters from parents Make sure that all students have lunch, contact parents if lunch is not in backpack and was not ordered Mark lunch attendance form and student attendance cards Keep a log of all permission slips and other returned forms Interact with children in during classroom activities, meals etc. Assist with bathroom (changing diapers if necessary) and hand washing Clean and disinfect tables before breakfast and lunch Follow the classroom teacher's lead - assist with lesson planning and preparing materials to be used Rub students back to help soothe them to nap Sign out at designated timesBenefits:
