In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster developmental growth, social skills, and a love for learning among our preschoolers and toddlers. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early education principles Support children with their activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and educational exercises Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to safety protocols Help with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining cleanliness Engage with children to encourage social interaction, positive behavior, and emotional regulation Support infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, and other caregiving needs in accordance with health standards Collaborate with team members to observe developmental milestones and communicate any concerns to supervisors Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-appropriate activities Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with patience, energy, and enthusiasm for early childhood education Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired!
