Experience with young children is essential to this position. Must be very creative and hands-on and support our curriculum outline. Must be very effective at developing individualized programs to meet the unique needs of each student. Excellent communication skills with students, parents and other stakeholders is required.

  • Be capable of multi-tasking Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
  • Selecting or creating, as needed, all educational and related materials for special education program for preschoolers
  • Creating and executing lesson plans
  • Creating weekly classroom newsletters for parents
  • Monitoring and assessing student developmental abilities and milestones
  • Assisting children in the exploration of social emotional skills
  • Building, and expanding upon, letter and number recognition
  • Continuously working on handwriting skills along with our handwriting program
  • Develop and execute fine and gross motor activities
  • Expand on language development and knowledge
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Successful work history of at least 2 years in an Early Childhood Program or Preschool setting with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
  • A Bachelors Degree (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education or another field related to child growth and development is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of STEM programs and the sciences is desirable.
  • A MANDATORY
    Extensive Background Check will be conducted before hiring.
  • If hired, First Aid training, CPR, and other training will be required.
