Assist teachers with preparing and organizing instructional materials aligned with curriculum goals, including lesson planning for literacy, math, and other core subjects Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, transitions, and routines to promote a safe and engaging environment Provide individualized assistance to students with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate support for their learning and behavior management Help facilitate inclusive classroom activities that cater to early childhood development principles such as Montessori or preschool methodologies Monitor student progress and behavior, documenting observations to inform instructional strategies and communicate effectively with teachers and parents Support childcare duties for toddlers and preschool-aged children, including diapering, feeding, and engaging in age-appropriate play Contribute to curriculum development efforts by implementing lesson plans that foster literacy education, numeracy skills, and social-emotional learning Strong understanding of special education practices and childhood development principles Experience with lesson planning across various subjects such as literacy education, math, and early childhood curricula Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and students with disabilities or autism Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and students Familiarity with daycare or private school environments and Montessori or preschool educational approaches Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with disabilities or special needs in an educational setting This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while gaining valuable classroom experience.
