KinderCare is seeking a Pre K Assistant Teacher to support our Medford, NJ learning center. In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for preschool children. Responsibilities include helping implement age-appropriate curriculum, supervising children, supporting social-emotional growth, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. You will build positive relationships with families and collaborate with a supportive teaching team. Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines for Pre-K children Supervise children to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities Prepare and organize classroom materials, learning centers, and supplies Communicate positively with children, families, and team members Support social-emotional development and encourage positive peer interactions Help with meals, snacks, toileting, and hygiene as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Participate in training and professional development Follow Kinder Care and regulatory health, safety, and licensing standards Required Skills Early childhood classroom support Child supervision and safety Age-appropriate instructional support Behavior management Basic child development knowledge Communication with families Classroom organization Team collaboration CPR and First Aid basics Documentation and record-keeping
