We are looking for a joyful, dedicated Assistant Director to join our team full-time (Monday - Friday)! Reporting directly to our Center Director, you will play a vital role in keeping our center safe, happy, and thriving. If you love inspiring teachers, stepping into the classroom when needed, and creating a vibrant learning environment for young children, we would love to welcome you to our school family!
What You'll Do:
Support & Step In:
Step into the shoes of the Center Director or Teachers as needed during their absence to keep our day running smoothly.
Inspire Learning:
Collaborate with staff to ensure our curriculum and classroom activities are delivered with warmth, high quality, and state/local excellence.
Build Community:
Maintain sweet, open communication with our families and engage in community outreach.
Maintain Safety & Quality:
Follow center policies and state regulations to ensure a safe, nurturing environment where every child prospers.
Grow Continuously:
Keep your passion alive by maintaining a personal professional development plan for continuous quality improvement.
What We're Looking For:
Education (Required): You MUST hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field of study.
Experience:
3-5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting, with prior experience as a Director or Assistant Director preferred.
Key Skills:
High energy, a strong understanding of child development, excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication abilities.
Certifications & Clearances:
Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification, plus passing a full background check and health screening.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to repeatedly lift 40 pounds, quickly go from a seated position on the ground to standing, and clearly see and hear children within a 25-foot radius.

Employment Type:
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
