Position Overview We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Montessori Assistant Teacher to support our Lead Teacher and students in the classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children, eager to learn the Montessori method, and excited to be part of a positive and supportive school community. Key Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a prepared Montessori environment Assist students with daily activities while encouraging independence Help set up and maintain classroom materials and organization Observe student behavior and progress, sharing insights with the Lead Teacher Foster a calm, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Supervise children during classroom work, outdoor play, and transitions Assist with classroom management and daily routines Communicate respectfully with students, staff, and families Qualifications Experience working with young children (preferred) Montessori training or willingness to learn the Montessori philosophy Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, nurturing, and reliable personality Ability to take initiative and follow guidance from the Lead Teacher High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred What We Offer A warm, supportive, and collaborative team environment Commitment to a healthy work-life balance Opportunities for training and professional growth Competitive salary based on experience Benefits package (if applicable) Why Join Us?
