Job Description

Join our great team! We seek someone who cares about young children to work as an assistant teacher in various classrooms, caring for and teaching children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years. There is room for advancement for the right person.
Position Summary:
At the direction of the teacher, the teacher assistant is responsible for planning and implementing the daily routines of the classroom room, for engaging children in developmental activities and ensuring the safety of all children. Staff are also responsible for the cleanliness of the center throughout the day in accordance with state regulations. All staff must comply with NJ licensing guidelines. The teacher assistant is also responsible for executing an educational program that reflects the beliefs and philosophies of Children on the Green. This is a part-time position. We are currently looking for AM and PM shifts. Previous childcare experience is preferred.
