Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily classroom activities, help implement lesson plans, maintain a safe and positive learning environment, and provide nurturing care to children throughout the day. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in building a career in early childhood education. Assistant Teachers will receive hands-on training, guidance, and support from experienced Lead Teachers and management while learning classroom management, curriculum implementation, child development, and daily classroom operations. Our goal is to help motivated Assistant Teachers develop their skills and grow into Lead Teacher positions and other career opportunities within early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, routines, and lesson plans Help create a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment Support children during learning activities, meals, transitions, outdoor play, and other daily routines Assist with age-appropriate activities in literacy, math, science, physical development, and social-emotional learning Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety Support positive behavior and classroom management under the guidance of the Lead Teacher Observe children and communicate important information to the Lead Teacher Help prepare classroom materials, activities, and learning centers Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, and coworkers Follow school policies, licensing requirements, health procedures, and safety standards Participate in training and professional development opportunities Work closely with the Lead Teacher and management team to continue learning and developing classroom leadership skills Qualifications Must enjoy working with young children and supporting their development Dependable, patient, caring, and willing to learn Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and management Willingness to participate in training and professional development Interest in building a long-term career in early childhood education Benefits We value our teachers and offer benefits designed to support their well-being and professional growth, including: Paid vacation time Paid sick time Healthcare plan options available Dental plan options available Vision plan options available Training and professional development Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment Join our team as an Assistant Teacher and gain the experience, training, and support needed to grow your career in early childhood education. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
