Job Summary Preschool Learn Time is a nurturing and educational early learning center committed to supporting the growth and development of young children. We are currently seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Assistants to join our team at our new Nutley location. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a difference in the lives of young learners Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and daily classroom routines Supervise and engage children in classroom and outdoor activities Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment Supervise and lead after school activities. Support children's emotional, physical, and social development Communicate positively with children, parents, and coworkers Ensure compliance with state childcare licensing regulations Assist with meal times, diapering/toileting, and transitions throughout the day Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or Early Childhood coursework preferred) Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred A passion for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to pass background checks and health requirements (physical, TB test, etc.)
