Job Description

Montessori Academy of New Jersey is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating preschool environment for children ages 6 months to 6 years. Our focus is on fostering early childhood development through hands-on learning and individualized attention. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching classroom environment for toddlers. Assist in supervising and caring for toddlers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom management by implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth Help with diapering, feeding, and hygiene routines in accordance with health and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and discovery Follow all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a secure setting for children Experience Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is highly desirable Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential Join us at the Montessori Academy of New Jersey to make a meaningful difference in young lives! Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
