Job Description
Bell's Little Learners is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Pre-K Assistant Teacher to join our classroom team. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines. Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day. Assist with age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, games, and learning experiences. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Help with transitions, meals, nap/rest time, bathroom routines, and other daily needs. Encourage positive behavior and help children develop independence and problem-solving skills. Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and cleaning. Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers, children, families, and administration. Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and state childcare regulations. Work as part of a team and be willing to help wherever needed. Maintain a positive, patient, and nurturing attitude throughout the day. Qualifications Previous experience working with young children preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual. Must enjoy working with children and be comfortable working in a busy classroom environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patient, caring, and able to remain calm in challenging situations. Willingness to learn and follow classroom and center expectations. Must meet all applicable childcare employment and background-check requirements. Pay:
