Job Description

We are seeking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Instructor Aides for the Public Safety Academy in Wayne, NJ. This is part-time, hourly position.

Example of Duties:

Assist the EMT Instructors to provide instruction for emergency medical technician students Assist the EMT Instructors in the demonstration and practice designed to develop and evaluate student skill competencies Attend and participate in all aspects of EMT- Basic training Assist in maintaining continuity for the training program

Qualifications:

Current New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT0-B) certification required Instructional experience a plus Daytime, evening and weekend availability needed The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation:

Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $16.

Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
