Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Teacher Assistant/Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a nurturing environment for young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with child supervision, and contribute to the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Your energy and commitment will inspire curiosity and growth in children from infancy through preschool age, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and curriculum standards. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions to promote safety and engagement. Support individual and group learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that is safe, inviting, and conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs to foster strong partnerships. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety by promptly reporting any concerns of neglect or abuse. Administer basic first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary, ensuring children's health and well-being are prioritized at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Familiarity with special education needs and experience supporting children with disabilities or developmental delays. Excellent child supervision skills combined with effective classroom management techniques. Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members; experience with parent communication is a plus. Knowledge of first aid procedures, including pediatric first aid and CPR certification. Understanding of behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional regulation. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children; nannying or babysitting experience is valuable. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while creating an engaging learning environment for young learners. Join us in shaping bright futures!
