Position Overview Assistant Teachers are responsible for working with lead teachers to implement learning activities and manage the day-to-day operational activities of our indoor and outdoor classrooms. Assistant teachers should have an understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to help ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Assistant teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, as well as being able to work effectively as part of an early education team.
