You'll be paraprofessional on a teaching team delivering both patient loving care & great learning opportunities for each of your students each and every day. At first, your primary focus will be on assisting the team in maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment that provides for the emotional & physical care needs of each of our students. As your initial training & ongoing experience increase, you'll also be taking a growing role in providing each of our students with lesson plan-based programs using our Little Ivy approaches. You'll need to have at least some previous experience working with groups of young children, especially ages 1-2. This experience could be as a babysitter, mother's/father's helper, nanny, summer camp counselor or at a special-needs program or preschool/child-care center. A positive, patient approach and passion for teaching active, young preschoolers is essential (the typical behaviors of these age groups give you a chuckle, not a headache). Must be able to lift children and change diapers. Candidates who have at a minimum (a) a high school diploma and/or an AA/AS degree, plus (b) experience caring for young children, especially in a group setting are welcome to apply!
