Responsibilities:

Promoting Child Development in conjunction with academic learning, while providing a safe, nurturing, educational environment and promoting social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth. Can successfully plan and execute monthly lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum. Can work together well with other teachers and childcare staff. Must be available to attend staff meeting and workshops to complete required minimum of professional development hours per year. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director.

Work Experience/Skills:

Must have at least two years of teaching experience, Must exhibit sincere interest in working with young children and be knowledgeable regarding children's development and growth. Make good judgement, self-motivated, creative, reliable, flexible, and dependable. Must be able to handle lifting and or carrying children and other items up to 50 pounds.
