Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and special education, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. The Lead Teacher/Teacher Assistant will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering the growth and development of each child. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment through effective behavior management strategies. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress, including standardized testing and IEP evaluations. Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support students with developmental disabilities, autism, and other special needs. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and engage students in the learning process. Provide speech therapy and early intervention strategies as needed to support language development. Foster literacy education through targeted reading programs and activities. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education. Requirements Experience working with children in a classroom setting, preferably in preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavioral health practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Experience in curriculum development that incorporates physical education, math, literacy, and behavioral therapy techniques.
