9678088-07753 Job Description Support the success of elementary students as a paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment near Neptune, NJ. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting both resource room and general education students in grades 2-5. In this role, you'll work closely with a resource room teacher, supporting grade 4/5 students and providing valuable in-class assistance for a grade 2 classroom. Your day will run from 8:15 am to 2:50 pm, five days a week, allowing you to engage fully with learners and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teachers aide preferred Understanding of the needs of elementary-aged students, especially those receiving additional support Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills Ability to follow teacher direction and work as part of a collaborative team Basic understanding of classroom management and instructional support High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education a plus
