Position Summary We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a Lead Teacher to create meaningful learning experiences for children ages six weeks to six years. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Interact with children through play-based learning that supports their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Help maintain a warm, safe, and organized classroom where children feel comfortable exploring and learning. Observe and document children's progress and milestones. Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administrators to support each child's individual needs. Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred, but a passion for early childhood education is most important. An understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices. Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset. Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
