About the Respite Program Assistant Position Share Your Care provides Adult Day Services at locations in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho and is looking for dedicated and experienced professional caregivers to support our elderly clients in a comfortable, nonmedical environment (no in-home care), Monday through Friday during daytime hours (no evenings or weekends). Work with our clients to engage them socially, cognitively, and physically, and assist them on outings into the community, arts & crafts projects, meals, and personal care.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Able to assist clients with personal care and hygiene and be able to lift at least 30 pounds
• Be available to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
• Must pass a criminal history background check, pre-employment drug screening, and TB test

Benefits:

• Fixed duty day of Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, (no evenings, weekends, or major holidays)
• Paid time off including sick time, 9 holidays per year, annual leave, and personal time (after successful completion of a 90-day orientation period)

Work with adults with developmental disabilities enabling them to have a person-centered, meaningful day, and assist them on outings into the community, arts & crafts projects, meals, and personal care.
