Job Description

About the Role Mariposa Academy is seeking an experienced, proactive Lead Teacher Assistant to manage and direct our Before and After School Program. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to supervise program activities, ensure student safety, support engaging learning experiences, and manage day-to-day operations for our before and after-care sessions. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and staff supervision for before and after-school care Lead structured academic support, enrichment activities, and group recreation Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and school leadership regarding program updates and student progress Qualifications Proven experience in classroom management, childcare programs, or educational supervision Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Passion for fostering a supportive, family-oriented community atmosphere Why Join Mariposa?
