We serve families with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, providing full-time care, before- and after-school programs, and summer camps. Our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum and nurturing environment help prepare children for school while fostering a lifelong love of learning. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead/Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers. Your passion for early childhood education and child development will inspire young learners and support their growth through structured activities, nurturing interactions, and effective classroom management. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning Follow all mandated reporting laws and health & safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures Support classroom management by guiding positive behavior and using effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive learning environment aligned with curriculum standards Experience Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is required Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management strategies is essential Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to supervise children effectively while maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere Join us to make a meaningful difference in children's lives!
