Key Responsibilities Upholds company philosophy and policies, i.e. health & safety, nutrition and regulations. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive educational environment. Utilize effective communication strategies to engage students and facilitate their learning. Design and adapt curriculum materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Provide instruction in core subjects such as math, language arts, and social skills. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure academic success. Implement behavioral management techniques to support students' emotional well-being. Conduct assessments to evaluate student performance and inform instructional decisions. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain accurate classroom records. Responsible for supervision of the children or for coordinating appropriately qualified personnel in your absence as well as inform Assistant Teacher/Director. Develop and implement age appropriate activities and lesson plans in a fun and safe environment, following school curriculum. Fosters positive parent relationships through respecting the confidential nature of all information about parents, children, and staff. Maintain open communication with parents, addressing their questions or concerns in a timely manner. Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Provides a forum for ongoing communication daily notes, phone calls, etc. Attends and participates in required staff meetings, trainings, workshops, and parent/teacher meetings. Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, admin, students and parents Adhere to schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime Facilitate meals, snacks, bathroom among other daily activities for supervised group of children Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Knowledge of behavioral health strategies and speech therapy techniques is a plus. Familiarity with early childhood education principles is beneficial. Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience in curriculum development tailored for diverse learners is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential. Previous experience working in a preschool, daycare setting, or other young children environments preferred Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations Passionate about working with children, with positive and patient demeanor Familiarity with licensing regulations and requirements for preschool programs a plus Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Availability to work during hours of operation preferred We're willing to train anyone with the proper credentials in our innovative methods.Job Types:
