Key Qualifications:

Experience as a school paraprofessional or similar classroom support role State paraprofessional certification required for Teacher Assistant applicants Teacher Aide applicants do not require state certification Ability to assist in diapering and providing care for young children as needed Comfortable managing behaviors and following individual student support plans Strong references from previous managers (required before interviewing) Compassion, flexibility, and clear communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Support teachers in daily classroom activities and lessons Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students Help implement behavioral support strategies under supervision Assist with physical needs, including toileting and diapering for younger students Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Aid students with both academic and personal tasks as directed by educational staff
