Teaching Assistants, Special Education Camillus, NY Job Details 5 days ago Qualifications Childhood development Special education Working with children Teaching Entry level Full Job Description Teaching Assistants (Teaching Assistant Certification Preferred) West Genese Central School District has immediate and anticipated openings in the Teaching Assistant area. Responsibilities include working with individual students or groups of students on instructional activities and tasks, and related work as required. This is a 6.5-hour-per-day, 10-month position. Job Qualifications Job Qualifications Possession of or willingness to pursue Teaching Assistant certification in New York State. Experience with children and some knowledge of childhood development. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, a lifelong commitment to learning. Is skilled at establishing positive working relationships.
