In this vital role, you will support classroom teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive developmental experiences for children across preschool and early childhood education settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to children's growth and learning while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children with activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment Provide attentive childcare during activities, meals, nap times, and outdoor play Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth classroom operations and effective communication with parents Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong classroom management skills and ability to handle diverse needs of young children Excellent communication skills and a nurturing attitude toward children's growth Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
