Job Description
Kid's Place Learning Center is currently seeking dynamic individuals with a passion to work with children ranging in age from six weeks through ten years of age. As a Teacher Assistant, it is important to be flexible in working with various age groups. You must be available to work Monday through Friday. The center operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. These positions will typically work from 6:30 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 6:30 pm daily. Your work schedule may vary depending on the needs of the program. Applicants must be available to begin this position by September 1 , 2026. The Assistant Teacher will work alongside the classroom Teacher. Maintains and utilizes classroom materials and supplies. Support the Lead Teacher with the implementation of classroom curriculum. This will include preparation and clean up of planned and unplanned activities and event/project planning. The Teacher Assistant assumes classroom leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Teacher. Provides active guidance and nurtures the children's needs while supporting each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development to meet their needs. Depending on the children's age and ability, this may include feeding, toileting, and diapering. Communicates effectively with students, parents and colleagues in a professional, polite, and respectful manner. Performs other related duties as assigned.
