Position Begins:
Immediately after meeting requuirements
Schedule:
Mon- Fri 8 am - 5 pm
Compensation:
$17/ hour Requirements
  • 18 years/ older
  • HS Diploma
  • 2 years experience in childcare setting Mandatory Training and Procedures Accepting a offer to this position means you agree to participate training for the following certifications and to submit your fingerprints for a background check.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR and First Aid Mandated Reporting (Child Abuse ) Medicine Administration Training ( MAT ) Sexual Harassment Food Handling 5 hour health and safety e-learning course Responsibilities
  • Create and implement approved lesson plans
  • Help maintain a clean, fun and safe learning environment (see center workflow)
  • Communicate and meet with families about children's development
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff members, students, families and visitors
  • Engage students in hands on activities (indoors and outdoors)
  • Model family style practices during meal times
  • Implement routines that promote physical activity, rest, playtime, and healthy life practices
  • Supervise and mentor volunteers and camp participants during summer months
