Responsibilities Assist students with classroom routines, class work, engagement activities Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily educational activities Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs Prepare and organize classroom materials Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, and classroom transitions Support behavior management strategies and reinforce positive behavior Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with children in a school, daycare, camp, ABA, childcare, or related setting is preferred Ability to complete NYC Department of Education fingerprinting (required) Current CPR/BLS Certification Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, students, and families Physical completed within the last 12 months with current PPD and MMR documentation What We Offer Full-time opportunities Monday-Friday school schedule Flexible placement options Medical, dental, vision for eligible employees Weekly payroll 401(k) Paid sick time Apply Today Join our team to empower students through dedicated support and inclusive educational practices that foster growth, independence, and success!
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
