Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in creating a nurturing and effective learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and experience working with children, including those with special needs. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students. Support children with special education needs, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance during classroom activities. Engage with students in a positive manner, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a structured learning environment. Provide care for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being during school hours. Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support to enhance learning experiences. Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other staff regarding student progress and needs. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with disabilities. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an inclusive atmosphere. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
