Job Description

Position Title Part-time Teaching Assistant Required Application Type School Related Personnel Job Description We celebrate diversity, inclusion, and equity, and welcome applicants representative of our diverse and multicultural community for the following paraprofessional vacancy: Great Neck is seeking a part-time teaching assistant at J.F. Kennedy Elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment.
Hours:
M-F, 8:50am-3:20pm, 6.5 hrs/dy
Duties:
Instruct Fun for Fours program, a science-based enrichment program. Provide students with opportunities to observe, explore, create, and discover the world around them.
Requirement:
Applicants must be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits highly preferred.
