Your passion for early childhood education will be instrumental in creating engaging learning experiences for children across preschool and daycare settings. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment, encouraging good behavior, and implementing behavior management strategies. Engage children in educational activities that promote childhood development, including Montessori and toddler care techniques. Help supervise children during daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap time, and transitions between activities. Foster inclusive learning by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom events to build strong partnerships. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and curriculum development. Familiarity with special education strategies, behavior management techniques, and working with children with disabilities or autism. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Ability to implement lesson plans creatively while adapting to individual student needs. Experience with classroom management tools and techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for professional growth is essential. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
