Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Supervise children closely to ensure safety and proper behavior management at all times. Assist with classroom organization, including setting up learning materials and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Engage children in play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities and progress, fostering strong relationships. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures when necessary. Support inclusive practices by working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or support for disabilities. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or classroom setting is preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention. Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among children. Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Passion for caregiving, early childhood education, and supporting children's growth in a nurturing environment.
