Program Assistant About Active Plus Active Plus is a nonprofit organization providing sports, fitness, wellness, and leadership programming to youth in underserved communities. We are seeking an energetic and reliable Program Assistant to help deliver engaging programs for students across our partner schools and community sites. Responsibilities Assist instructors with fitness, sports, and Structured Recess programs. Help set up, organize, and break down equipment and program spaces. Lead or support games, fitness activities, drills, and recreational activities. Encourage student participation and create an inclusive environment for youth of all athletic abilities and backgrounds. Help maintain structure, safety, and positive behavior during programs. Build positive relationships with students, school staff, and Active Plus team members. Assist with attendance, equipment tracking, and other basic program needs. Participate in staff trainings and meetings as needed. Support special events and other Active Plus programs when needed. Qualifications Experience working with children or teens. Interest or experience in sports, fitness, physical education, recreation, or youth development. Energetic and comfortable being physically active with students. Reliable, punctual, professional, and organized. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Able to engage students with different personalities, backgrounds, and athletic abilities. Positive attitude and a good sense of humor when working with youth.

Compensation:
