Catholic Central School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teaching Aide to support our Pre-K 2 classroom. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with toddlers and/or two-year-old children and a genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow, and develop. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines. Provide attentive, nurturing care and supervision to students. Support children with age-appropriate learning, play, socialization, and developmental activities. Assist with meals, snacks, toileting, dressing, and other daily needs. Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate positively and professionally with teachers, families, and school staff. Encourage positive behavior, independence, and social-emotional development. Participate in school activities and support the mission and values of Catholic Central School. Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or children ages 2-3 is strongly preferred. A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children. Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team. Dependability, professionalism, and strong communication skills. Early childhood education coursework or credentials are a plus, but not required.
