Assistant Art Instructor

Overview La Vie En Couleurs is seeking a reliable and energetic Assistant Art Instructor to support our Paint & Sip classes and daily studio operations. This part-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who enjoys a creative, social environment and working with people. As an Assistant Art Instructor, you will work closely with the lead instructor to ensure each class runs smoothly from start to finish. You will play a key role in setting up the studio, assisting guests during sessions, and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked space. This position is essential in creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest. Responsibilities Assist the lead instructor during Paint & Sip sessions Refill paint, water, and supplies throughout each class Answer guest questions and provide basic support during sessions Set up canvases, materials, and workstations before each class Clean, reset, and tidy the studio after sessions Assist with opening and closing the studio as scheduled Maintain cleanliness and organization before, during, and after classes Monitor inventory and restock supplies (paint, brushes, cups, napkins, etc.) Ensure all guests have the materials they need for a smooth experience Requirements Prior experience in customer service, events, or similar environments preferred Interest in art or creative spaces is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly, team-oriented, and helpful attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced, social setting Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting Additional Details Full time/ Part-time position (3-5 days per week) Evening and weekend availability required On-site in
