Job Overview Tom Thumb Preschool is looking for a reliable and responsible After School Program Assistant to supervise elementary school-aged children during our after-school program. The primary responsibility of this position is simply to watch and supervise the children, make sure they are safe, and help maintain a calm and positive environment until they are picked up. Responsibilities include supervising children during after-school hours, monitoring their safety and behavior, making sure children remain accounted for, helping maintain an orderly environment, and assisting other staff when needed. We are looking for someone who is dependable, attentive, patient, responsible, and comfortable working with children. Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required. This is a part-time afternoon position.
