About us Program opportunities with enrichment resources is a small business in Mount Vernon, NY. We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to Employ additional team members to ensure a successful learning experience for children ages 3 years old to 12 years old.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about childhood development and education. ```Responsibilities```- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
- Assist with behavior management and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and maintain an organized and stimulating classroom
- Support students during snack time, recess, and other activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Help with classroom management, including setting up materials and maintaining cleanliness ```Qualifications```
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
