07/31/2026 3:41 PM The Clarkstown Central School District is seeking candidates to work in our schools as a Teacher's Aide. Job Description This work involves a variety of routine, non-instructional duties to assist teachers. Tasks vary depending on the assigned grade level and specific school needs. Examples of typical work duties include supporting students' physical needs by aiding with clothing, hygiene, restroom Visits; supporting students' organizational needs by helping maintain instructional materials, supplies and personal belongings; and maintaining a safe and orderly environment by overseeing students in classrooms, libraries, hallways, cafeterias and on school grounds. The work is performed under the supervision of a teacher or other professional school staff member.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.

Other Requirements and Information:

Employment is contingent upon obtaining fingerprint clearance from the New York State Education Department (NYSED). Candidates who are offered positions and who obtain clearance will be reimbursed for the cost upon submission of appropriate documentation (receipts).
