Job Description

The Teaching Assistant is hired as an assistant to the teacher and should be able to help create a climate conducive to good teaching and learning. Arrive at school 15 minutes prior to the arrival of the children and be able to stay 30 minutes after class ends to clean up the room and get reorganized for the next day. Be familiar with the daily classroom routine and be able to implement activities and assist where needed. Ensure safe conditions for the children at all times. Helpful to have enthusiasm, a sense of humor and responsibility towards the faculty, children and the families. Classes are weekday mornings, Monday- Friday, 9-12. Arrival is 8:45am and departure is 12:30pm. Children are 2, 3 & 4 years old, depending on classroom.
