Long Term Temporary Teacher Assistant - Special Education Private School United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a Special Education Private School in their search for Teacher Assistants. The school serves students with various special needs from K-21 years old. This is a long term temporary assignment starting ASAP. The position may have the possibility of becoming permanent if its the right fit.

Mon-Fri 8am-2:30pm Pay rate: $24/hr

Special Education Teacher Assistant:

Supporting the instruction and tutoring of individual or small groups of students. Assisting the teacher with classroom management. Preparing and/or create class materials as well as assist in assigning tasks. Accompanying class to all specials as assigned. Assisting the Lead Teacher with monitoring student progress during tests and class assignments, operating audiovisual equipment, and assisting in correcting test papers, recording grades, maintaining files, and keeping accurate daily attendance.
