Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar support role in a school environment. Passion for assisting students at elementary and/or middle school levels. Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles or willingness to learn. Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families. Patience, flexibility, and a positive approach to addressing diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in both academic and behavioral goals within ABA classrooms. Assist teachers with classroom management, lesson implementation, and adaptations. Provide one-on-one or small group support tailored to each students learning plan. Monitor student progress and document observations as requested. Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere. Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
