Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Support infants with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Engage children through play, educational activities, and social interactions that encourage curiosity, exploration, and skill development. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong home-school connections. Follow mandated regulations and program policies. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and assisting with behavior management strategies under supervision. Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom environment. Ability to work collaboratively with team members to create a nurturing and engaging atmosphere for infants and toddlers. Must demonstrate patience, compassion, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for caregiving and early childhood education.
