About Keshequa Central School:
Keshequa Central School provides a range of rigorous programs that help students achieve. The district believes in supporting students and providing opportunities that will enable all students to develop their talents and pursue individual interests. Our mission is to understand each student's interests, needs, and ambitions in order to prepare all students for graduation with knowledge, character and the ability to lead successful lives. The district is situated between the beautiful Letchworth and Stony Brook State parks. There are two campuses; the Dalton Campus has one elementary (grades Prek-4), and the Nunda Campus has one middle school (grades 5-8) and one high school (grades 9-12).
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our team at Keshequa Central School. As a Teacher Aide, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide classroom support and assistance to students.
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing instructional materials and setting up the classroom environment Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times Help maintain student records, take attendance, and complete other administrative tasks as needed Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school administration Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
Job Qualifications Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or some college coursework preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
